The world of artificial intelligence is currently watching a major legal battle in court. Elon Musk, one of the original co-founders of OpenAI, has taken the company to court. He claims that CEO Sam Altman and president Greg Brockman broke their original promise when they changed the company from a non-profit organization into a for-profit business. A non-profit is an organization that does not have the goal of making money for owners, while a for-profit business is designed to earn money for its investors.
