A major industrial emergency is unfolding in Garden Grove, California, where a large chemical tank at a GKN Aerospace facility has become dangerously overheated. The situation has forced approximately 50,000 residents to leave their homes under evacuation orders. He noted that the most likely scenario is a low-volume release of chemicals rather than a massive blast.
