Starting today, streamers can choose to stop Amazon from using their videos, clips, and chat messages to train its generative AI models. To stop their content from being used, users must visit the settings page on the Twitch website. Once there, they can find a toggle switch under the Security and Privacy tab. According to The Verge, this switch was turned on by default for many users. If a user decides to turn it off, their future streams, recorded videos, and chat messages will no longer be used to train Amazon’s generative AI systems. However, it is important to note that if a user participates in someone else's stream, the settings of the stream owner will decide whether that chat data is used for training.
