The United States and Iran are currently engaged in delicate negotiations aimed at ending the conflict that began in February. Following months of tension, there is growing hope that a deal could be reached to stop the fighting. According to BBC News, the proposed agreement involves a 60-day ceasefire—an agreement to stop fighting for two months—along with the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and further discussions regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
